City Beef & Provisions was founded in 1955 in the heart of the Meat District in Trenton , New Jersey. The original building was a Trenton Meat Packer founded in 1903 .  Pete Diaz was just a boy when he joined City Beef in 1955, working and growing the business was a lifetime dedication he continued until 2014 when he decided he want to grow again and the business was acquired by Tarantino Food Group and Two Brothers owners Chef Rick Tarantino , Research & Celebrity Chef and Jim Nelson a Entrepreneur and experienced CFO. The three now work together to expand City Beef & Provisions into a national company with its own Brands.
